Presentation Abstract

The simulation of modern electronic systems and components has become increasingly challenging due to the rise in complexity, miniaturization and density. Furthermore, long transients are needed to model digital signals as well as environmental effects. All this can result in simulation times of hours or days, which can make simulation an inefficient tool in the electronic design process.
This presentation will present solutions that drastically reduce simulation time and demonstrate examples from various areas of electronic design which can only be solved using high performance hardware.
